Double Indemnity Scene analysis

I feel like the narration in this particular movie seems to go along with the events going on in the story. The narrator is the killer and he cuts in and out talking over the film and tlking as his self in it. I think it goes really well with the scene as we get a little bit of background on how the two men even come to interact with each other. And maybe a little bit of what cause the odds that ultimately led to the killing. It adds a lot of depth to the movie especially when he starts to talk about actually committing the crime and his possible alibis
